Take action on a signal
Every signal has a Take action button. It drafts an opening message about that event, for that company, grounded in what you sell.
Every signal has a Take action button. This is where the product is supposed to earn its keep.
What it uses
The draft is written from four things, so the more of them you fill in, the more specific it gets:
- what you sell, from your Capability Profile
- your solution keywords
- your target verticals
- the signal itself and its source
Fill in your Capability Profile first
Without it, drafts say something polite and forgettable. With it, they say something specific about the fit between your offering and what just happened.
Choosing who it is for
Pick the seat you are writing to before you generate. The same funding round means different things to different people: a revenue target to a CRO, a team to build to a CTO. The draft argues to whichever one you pick rather than simply greeting them.
The shortlist is ordered for the kind of signal you are looking at, and the first is pre-selected. If you know the person's name, add it too and the draft opens with it instead of “Hi there”.
Choosing a tone
Pick the one that matches how you actually talk. Tones change the draft substantially, not cosmetically.
Founder to founder
Peer-level, informal, short.
Warm and consultative
Leads with their situation, not your product.
Direct and concise
For busy buyers. One point, one ask.
Technical peer
For engineering and product leads.
Your draft allowance
Each draft uses one of your monthly AI drafts. Hover the Take action button to see how many you have left before you click. The allowance resets on the first of each calendar month.
Explain with AI
Alongside the draft, Explain with AI summarises why the signal matters instead of writing outreach. It is useful when you are triaging a long feed and want the gist.
